Dr. Lichtner is Principal Scientist at Revive Genomics Inc. Currently he is a temporary USDA-ARS postdoctoral research associated funded via Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education locate in Beltsville, Maryland. He has extensive experience with fungal plant pathogen interactions, bioinformatics, genome sequencing, and field plant pathology. He is currently focusing his efforts a the USDA Food Quality Lab on pre and post-harvest pathogens of apple, understanding genetic mechanisms of virulence and fungicide resistance through traditional and molecular approaches via RNA sequencing. Dr. Lichtner will execute both experimental and genome mapping aspects of Revive projects upon funding.
